Who We Are

Nexverge LLC ("we", "our", "us") is the data controller for personal information processed by the PaperTrail app.

What We Collect

  • Email list (optional): your email address, time of signup, app source (e.g., "ios"), and a non-identifying Firebase user ID to manage subscriptions.
  • Purchases: handled by Apple; we don't receive your Apple ID or payment details.
  • Local app data: your receipts/usage stay on your device; we don't upload receipt images/content.

We don't collect precise location, contacts, or device IDs for advertising, and we don't sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

How We Use Information

  • Send product updates, promotions, roadmap notes, tips, and early-access invitations (only if you opt in).
  • Operate and secure the email list (e.g., deduplicate, allow unsubscribe).


Your Choices & Rights

  • Unsubscribe in the app: Settings → Email Updates → "Leave email list", or email support@papertrailapp.org.
  • California (CPRA) rights: know, delete, correct, and non-discrimination. We do not "sell" or "share" personal information as defined by CPRA.

To exercise rights, contact support@papertrailapp.org. We may request limited info to verify your request.


Retention

We keep email-list data until you unsubscribe or for up to 24 months of inactivity, then delete it. You can request deletion sooner.


International Transfers & Processors

We use Google Firebase (Firestore and Firebase Authentication) to store/process email-list data. Information may be processed in the U.S. and other countries where Google operates, with appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses). Apple processes payments. Meta (Facebook SDK) is used solely to measure app installs and ad performance from our Meta advertising campaigns.


Security

We use transport encryption and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use the app responsibly.


Children's Privacy

The app isn't directed to children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect data from them.


Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy as the app evolves or laws change. We'll post updates at https://www.papertrailapp.org/Privacypolicy.
