Privacy Policy for PaperTrail by Nexverge

At Nexverge LLC, we value your privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines how our iOS app, PaperTrail by Nexverge, handles your data.

1. Personal Information

We do not collect or store any personal information through the app. The only exception may be when users make in-app purchases (IAPs), in which case the transaction is handled securely through Apple’s App Store. We do not have access to your Apple ID or any payment information.

2. Account Information

PaperTrail does not require you to create an account. User data is stored locally on your device, and you may use your Apple ID to restore purchases or utilize iCloud backup features.

3. Data Storage

All receipt and usage data is stored locally on the device. We do not store or access your receipt images or data remotely.

4. Analytics & Tracking

At present, PaperTrail does not collect analytics data. In the future, we may implement Firebase to anonymously track promo code usage and improve user experience. No personally identifiable information will be collected.

5. Advertising

PaperTrail currently does not display ads. If ads are introduced in the future, we will update this privacy policy accordingly and disclose any third-party involvement.

6. Third-Party Sharing

We do not share your data with any third parties. If this changes in the future (e.g. for advertising or analytics purposes), the policy will be updated and you will be notified through the app or website.

7. Children’s Privacy

This app is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

8. User Rights

Since we do not collect or store your personal information, there is no account data to delete or export. If you uninstall the app, all locally stored data will be removed unless you back it up to iCloud.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect future changes to the app or legal requirements. Any changes will be posted at https://papertrailapp.org/privacy.
